This is a project-based skills class whose objective is to teach the basics of electronics and robotics. In this class, we will learn how to assemble a circuit, basic programming of a microcomputer called Arduino and Design (crafts) to make your invention unique. This is a beginner class and the only thing needed is the kit as well as a curious mind. We will start with the basics of science: motion, sound and lights and learn how to make the electronics do what we want. We will build: a) a robotic arm (motion class) b) an alarm (sound class) c) a traffic lights system (lights class) and d) a smart home (connecting the three lessons). Demo video https://youtu.be/HLV6l-tNmPEALERT: You will need to purchase a kit to enjoy this class as it consists of hands-on practical sessions. At the end of each lesson, a learner will have built a project, done some basic programming and also be able to test their working project. Get ready for exciting sessions and a chance to stretch your creativity. This class can be attempted by learners aged between 7-15 years or older and needs a quorum of 4 students. The only requirement is access to the kits/components needed. 4 lessons
