Swimming is an individual or team racing sport that requires the use of one's entire body to move through water. During swimming session we have land drills and pool drills which enables the swimmer develop a good swimming regime. Swimming involves different stages right from the Novices who are the beginners to the elite competitive swimmers. During the beginners class we shall be working on water confidence, air control while in water, floating front and back floating, deck kicking, front crawl kicking, gliding, arm pulling and finally side breathing on front crawl. From this stage the swimmers will be graduated to the stroke school where they shall learn how to propel themselves in water. The swimming lessons will be conducted at Impala Club swimming pool (Ngong Road) and the fee includes the pool charges and the training fee by Francis Amwai who is a certified level 2 International Swimming Coach. Swimming Lessons are 10 in total and can be carried out once a week for a period of 10 weeks. Each lesson spans for one (1) hour. Available time slots: Tuesday: 4:00pm-6:00pm, Wednesday: 4:00 -6:00pm Thursday 4:00pm - 6:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am -12:00 noon.
